The North Texas Library Expo was an annual staff development conference presented by Richardson ISD and Plano ISD and was free to school librarians in the North Texas area. In addition to hearing a library related keynote from a well known guest speaker, K-12 librarians have the opportunity to select and attend 3 of the 20+ breakout sessions offered. Breakout sessions typically cover trends in librarianship, technology, education, literature, and advocacy. Librarians may choose to visit the vendor exhibit hall, where they can peruse new titles/products and visit with vendor representatives. This one day event typically drew over 400 attendees from 30+ districts/organizations.
