Challenge: Transitioning from classroom teacher to campus librarian, annual goals are slightly different. As part of the onboarding process, new librarians need guidance in writing appropriate goals.

Solution: I created this SMART goal eLearning guide to explain the types of goals campus librarians write. Elements of a SMART goal and practice writing before our face to face meeting.

Results: Before the annual new librarian face-to-face professional learning day, all new to the district staff would have their goals written. Then face-to-face learning can focus on action steps to meet the goals.
